Cyclix Announces Approval as Federal Government Contractor with GSA Schedule 70 Contract Award
Cyclix LLC is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a highly coveted GSA Schedule 70 contract, hereby allowing us to sell goods and services to the U.S. federal government. The decision was announced on April 11, 2012, by GSA Applications - an arm of the General Services Administration (GSA), which has been increasingly responsible for federal technology spending. Henceforth, our VoIP SIP trunking services and equipment will be available via the governmental ordering system, GSA Advantage!®
Cyclix CTO, Peter Sandstrom, says this scheduling award will open up large new markets throughout the USA. "The GSA contract paves the way for state and local governments, not just the federal government, to secure the technology. Smaller municipal entities will gain the advantage of fixed-pricing locked in by the GSA contract."
In conjunction with the GSA award, Cyclix has introduced its SIPTrex-Platform™ (SxP), which is a no-cost PBX system that integrates VectorX™ QoS/Security solution, T.38 fax, redundant voice POTS failover, and wireless VoIP phone access. Peter Sandstrom calls this PBX “a full service product,” and adds,"it has the same capabilities of a system typically costing tens of thousands of dollars, but basically costs the users nothing." The Plug & Play SxP™ facilitates a smooth integration into existing phone systems.
Cyclix VoIP solutions are generally geared to higher-volume business telecom users, but also provides service offerings for smaller and medium-sized enterprises. Any organization that is looking to slice its communications outlays while increasing functionality is ripe for converting to Cyclixs broadband services.
There are three basic models that Cyclix clients adopt for integrating SIP trunking services:
1) utilize current CPE equipment to accommodate SIP trunking
2) take on native CPE support for SIP
3) or join our Business-Connect™ program
By offering these alternatives, we let customers take on VoIP technology in a manner that suits their budget and conversion strategy.
